In order to begin this relationship with God,
the Bible says that you need to:
- Accept that Jesus died on the cross for your sins.
- Ask Him to forgive you for your sins.
- Allow Him to come and live inside of you.
- Let Him be the Lord of your life.
- With His life inside of you, turn away from whatever God and the Bible call sin.
Here is a little prayer!
Dear Lord,
Being convinced that I am a sinner and that Christ died for sinners, I now repent of my sin and I trust Jesus to turn me away from what God and the Bible call sin. I receive Jesus Christ as my personal living savior and want to live for Him the rest of my life.
